Skipout Lake
You'll find a lakefront oasis only 10 miles west of Cheyenne on State Highway 47. Skipout Lake is home to boat ramps, docks, clean restrooms, outdoor grills, and picnic areas. Visit the 8 primitive sites.

Dead Warrior (Dead Indian) Lake
Head north on Highway 283 for 11 miles to get to Dead Warrior Lake (Dead Indian Lake), which has 80 acres.
You'll find grasslands, picnic tables, fireplaces, fishing piers, docks, boat ramps, clean restrooms, and swimming areas. Be sure to visit the 12 primitive sites and walk along the nature trail.

Spring Creek Lake
Enjoy 50 acres of grasslands at Spring Creek Lake. To get here, you need to travel 14 miles north on US Highway 283 and then swing over to State Highway 33 for 8 miles.
Take advantage of the picnic areas with outdoor grills, drinking water, and clean bathrooms. Plus, we also have fish from our docked boat ramps or you can take a swim near one of our 8 primitive sites.
